Mancelona Public Schools has an immediate opening for a School Social Worker either a licensed Master’s degree in social work or a Masters level licensed professional counselor (MSW/LPC). In this position, you would be responsible for supporting students and advocating for their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. The duties include counseling students, connecting at-risk youth with helpful resources, offering mentoring and suggestions for teachers and other school personnel, developing and providing crisis intervention strategies, and working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations.
