Our client is a global manufacturing company with a number of offices in Ireland and internationally and has partnered with IT Search to engage a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
The role
* Join the existing team with responsibility for a range of potential threats across internal systems and networks
* Manage incident and vulnerability risk assessment and mitigation steps, Business Continuity and general Cybersecurity posture – specifically tasked to manage various risk programmes
* Maintain and improve existing policies and procedures to best practice and compliance
* Work with various business heads to design and execute safe architecture and audits
* Take responsibility for employee training needs
Requirements
* 10 years of commercial security experience, ideally within a large firm or multinational
* Significant Certifications and Training (ISO, CRISC, NIST, GICSP etc.)
* High level of comfort with specific cybersecurity tools relating to hardware, firewalls
* Track record of forensic work and incident management
* Ability to work onsite three days per week
* Exceptional communication skills
