We are looking for an organised, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist & Administrator to join our Housing & Communities team and play a key role in supporting residents, colleagues, and visitors across our housing services.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and external stakeholders, you will provide a welcoming, professional, and efficient front-of-house service while supporting the day-to-day administration of our housing services.
You will be responsible for a range of administrative duties including maintaining records, managing correspondence, data entry, diary management, and processing purchase orders, ensuring information is accurate, confidential, and up to date.
Working closely with colleagues across the service, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our accommodation services while contributing to a positive and supportive environment for residents.
What You'll Do
• Provide a professional and welcoming reception service.
• Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and stakeholders.
• Manage telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
• Support diary management, correspondence, and general administration.
• Process purchase orders and other service-related documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and data protection standards are maintained.
• Support the wider team in achieving service objectives and performance targets.
You will have:
• Previous experience in a reception, administration, or customer service role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• A professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.

Hours per week: 37.5
Working Pattern: This role operates on a rolling rota and includes weekend and Bank Holiday working to ensure continuous support for residents.
