Fourways is an established organisation and we come highly recommended locally as a care organisation .Being a Community Support Worker is a very important and rewarding role.
The role of the job is to assist our clients to maintain living in their own homes as safely and happily as possible, encouraging their independence as a priority. Our clients need assistance with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, light housework, shopping, escorting to appointments, companionship and well being checks. Team members are fully supported by the office team and our out of hours on call team.
An induction and ongoing fully paid training will be given to staff, along with uniform including full PPE, mileage at 50p per mile and holiday pay which is 12.07% accrued on top of your wages.
A car and a smart phone are necessary for this role as the role involves driving between clients homes. We use a digital care recording system that operates off smart phones.
EXCELLENT PAY RATES
£9.08 per half hour Mon-Fri
£11.48 per 45 mins Mon-Fri
£13.02 per hour Mon-Fri
£11.42 per half hour Sat-Sun
£14.29 per 45 mins Sat-Sun
£15.75 per hour Sat-Sun
Bank holidays are paid at time and a half.
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day are paid double time.

Duties
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
* Providing patient care and companionship to enhance emotional well-being
* Supporting individuals with mobility and heavy lifting as needed using moving and handling equipment
* Administering medication according to prescribed schedules
* Implementing behaviour management strategies for individuals with challenging behaviours
* Assisting with first aid when necessary and ensuring safety protocols are followed
* Driving clients to appointments or social activities when required
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition
