Overview
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many industries. Our APS team is hiring a Release Train Engineer based in the UK to help deliver world-leading software. As an exceptional servant leader who understands Lean-Agile principles and the SAFe framework, you will facilitate, coach, and mentor a geographically dispersed team delivering a mix of software products (desktop, cloud, and SaaS). In a small team within a large organisation, you will build strong relationships and remove impediments to delivering on commitments.
Responsibilities
* Coaching and mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams in Lean-Agile principles and practices.
* Proactively identifying and removing impediments, risks, and dependencies hindering delivery.
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement and fostering an environment where teams learn, adapt, and optimise processes.
* Orchestrating key events such as PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and System Demos.
* Guiding the Agile Release Train on delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions on time to maximise business value.
* Serving as the primary mentor and coach for the Scrum Masters and helping them improve the skills they need to support their teams.
Your success is grounded in
* Having practical experience applying Lean-Agile principles and the SAFe framework.
* Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire small teams where individual contribution is critical to success.
* Servant leadership mindset enabling empowerment of teams, psychological safety, and removal of obstacles to achieve potential.
* Superb communication and facilitation skills to work with geographically dispersed teams in the UK, Europe, and India.
* A commitment to quality and transparency, including involvement in regular audits and keeping documented processes up to date.
