We are seeking an ambitious Quality Manager to help deliver our contract for the Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) at SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett.
Located at the former Radlett Aerodrome site in Hertfordshire, SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett will deliver a state-of-the-art rail freight terminal complete with extensive distribution warehouses and over 600 acres of enhanced green space.
The development aims to shift freight transportation from road to rail, significantly reducing carbon emissions and road congestion.
Construction is anticipated to take place over the next three years.
The scheme also promises numerous community and environmental benefits, including biodiversity net gain, employment and training opportunities, and integrated transport improvements.
Requirements:
Surveillances of activities supporting the Project Quality Plan and Contractors Quality Plans / Inspection and Test Plans
Manage and support Project teams in the development of Inspection Test Plans/Quality Checklists
Work closely with the site engineers to ensure the Quality process is being carried out on site.
Manage and carry out regular inspections/audits to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Quality
Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements
Coordinate and manage closure of non-conformities or performance improvement actions.
Provide Quality input into the Supplier pre-qualification process where required.
Review of documentation such as Quality Plans, including documents originated by Contractors.
Provide Quality support to the project / Client as required.
Skills & Requirements:
HNC/HND/Degree qualified or relevant experience in Quality Management.
Experience in Quality Management Systems.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in standard computer programmes including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent time management skills to ensure that all work is prioritised to meet project requirements.
Team player with ability to coach and mentor others as required.
