The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to support individual and group learning
* Build trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma, anxiety, or behavioural challenges
* Use your psychology knowledge to understand behaviour and help implement strategies to support emotional regulation
* Play a key role in creating a calm, consistent, and positive learning environment
This role is particularly suited to psychology graduates looking to gain practical experience before pursuing careers in:
* Educational Psychology
* Clinical Psychology
* Mental Health Support
* Youth Work or Social Care
* Teaching and SEND education
We're Looking For:
* A recent psychology graduate with a passion for child and adolescent mental health
* Empathy, resilience, and a calm, reflective approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
* Prior experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
