I'm looking for a playworker to work Mondays to Thursdays.
The hours are 3pm to 6pm term-time only. Ideal applicant will hold an in-date Enhanced DBS and a childcare qualification level 2 or equivalent. Safeguarding Children, First Aid, Equality & Diversity and Food Safety preferable but not essential as training can be arranged.
As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn.
Duties include: -
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime activities
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games and crafts activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Assist with snack time
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
Candidate must have:-
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and connect with the children
- Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children
- Ability to maintain a safe environment for children at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
