Area Sales Manager - South Wales, Gloucestershire, Hereford and Worcestershire
An all-round management position responsible for selling Domestic, Industrial, Commercial, and Emergency Lighting products directly to electrical wholesalers. The ideal candidate is a focused, energetic, and passionate sales professional with a success-driven attitude. You will drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business within an assigned geographic area. Building relationships with local electrical contractors will be essential to support a push/pull sales model.
Main Duties
1. Territory sales role selling all Ovia Ltd products into distributors within the designated area (Push/Pull role).
2. Proactive sales support to local contractors aligned with our distributors, including:
o Joint sales calls
o Trade counter mornings
o Local ECA branch meetings
o Product training
3. Identify and develop sales opportunities with existing and new accounts within Ovia’s trading philosophy.
4. Manage your work schedule and administrative tasks, adhering to company policies.
5. Utilize appropriate tools and strategies to achieve optimal results with customers.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical distributors and contractors.
7. Ensure high customer satisfaction with existing accounts.
Skills and Experience
* Full, preferably clean, driving license.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to identify and develop opportunities with existing and new accounts within the company's trading philosophy.
* Dynamic approach and strong work ethic.
