Post Title: Early Years Practitioner (Gaelic)
Location: Plockton Primary School, Plockton
Hours: 32 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £20,063 - £21,976 (Unqualified), £22,286 - £24,405 (Qualified)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Requirements
Qualified Early Years Practitioners should hold a recognized qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC, NNEB, SVQ 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535.
Unqualified workers will need to work towards one of the above qualifications within an agreed timeframe and will be paid on grade HC0435.
The role requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). If already registered and changing employment to Highland Council, inform the SSSC of any changes.
Qualifications in Food Handling and First Aid are advantageous.
