The role of the Technical Estimator Timber Windows will involve:
Sales Estimator role dealing with a high end manufactured range of windows
Liaising with main contractors, house builders and developers for new build and commercial projects
Will be responsible for taking enquiries from clients over the phone and email
Analyse drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of projects
Writing up quotes on the back of enquiries and talking through the quote with the client
Create supporting CAD drawings and documentation for approval and manufacture
Build and develop relationships with clients throughout the process to encourage repeat business
Dealing with projects ranging in value from £5,000 - £1,000,000
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Estimator Timber Windows with:
Must have sales, estimating, order processing or design experience within the fenestration market sector
Highly advantageous if you have experience dealing with timber windows and doors
Ideally will have AutoCAD experience
Ideally will have experience with Klaes software
Must have a good understanding of technical drawings and building regulations
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to build and develop relationships
Wanting to forge a career
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Driven, hungry, ambitious and enthusiastic
