· £33,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary commensurate with experience
· Monday – Friday
· 8:45am – 5:30pm
Housing Allocations Officer - Overview

Housing Allocations Officer - Duties:
Liaising with councils to allocate social housing stock
Ensuring the correct placement of tenants into suitable properties
Handling general property management tasks and addressing tenant enquiries
Following up on tenant queries and ensuring client satisfaction
Ensuring properties are ready for occupancy
Performing administrative duties, including answering incoming calls
Providing regular updates and reports to the council
Tracking data and maintaining accurate records using various IT systems
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
Continuously staying updated on relevant legislation and regulations related to social housing allocations
Identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions to enhance processes and efficiency
Housing Allocations Officer - Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role an advantage, otherwise experience in property management, lettings negotiation, coordination or administration will be considered
Knowledge of social housing and council allocation processes
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in IT systems and data tracking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
