About The Role
As the Administrator – Safeguarding Adults and working closely with the Service Manager and Safeguarding Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Providing administrative support to the Safeguarding Team
* Handling incoming enquiries and correspondence, ensuring timely responses
* Maintaining accurate records and databases, including updating client records and liaising with duty teams within the wider Adult Social Care function
* Coordinating meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute‑taking
* Assisting with the compilation of reports and documentation
* Managing and prioritising administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow
* Being an integral part of the wider Safeguarding Adults Team, working alongside professionals dedicated to ensuring the safety and well‑being of vulnerable individuals
About You
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
* Demonstrated professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
* While experience within a safeguarding or social care environment would be advantageous, it is not essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing priorities are key attributes we are seeking
This role is fixed term until 31/03/2027 – Backfill for secondment.

The maximum salary for this role is £27,254 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours.
