About the role:
The Global Share Plans Senior Manager leads the implementation of the Shares & Deferred Awards agenda, managing operational delivery of employee share plans and deferred awards for Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure share awards meet legal and regulatory standards.
* Manage relationships with plan administrators and suppliers.
* Collaborate with internal teams like Finance, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, HR, and Company Secretariat.
* Oversee project activities, grants, vesting, reporting, and data requests.
* Lead and develop the share plans team.
* Ensure processes and governance support compliance and improvement.
* Benchmark and analyze market best practices.
* Coordinate with Global Mobility to manage globally mobile employees’ equity.
About the candidate:
* Strong communication skills and influencing ability.
* Knowledge of employee schemes, legal, tax, and operational aspects.
* Experience with global awards like nil-cost options, phantom awards, etc.
* Up-to-date regulatory knowledge across jurisdictions.
* Proven project management and team leadership skills.
* Results-oriented with strong data analytics skills.
