MAINTENANCE SURVEYOR / MANAGER
Midlands Based | National Travel Required
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Surveyor / Manager to join a leading leisure operator with a diverse UK-wide estate, ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. sites. This company is renowned for its commitment to maintaining high standards across its properties, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and customers. The Maintenance Surveyor / Manager will oversee property maintenance and compliance, playing a pivotal role in guiding the business through its maintenance strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the coordination and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across the UK estate.
* Manage primary and secondary maintenance contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
* Conduct regular checks on completed works to ensure compliance with standards.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality maintenance works.
* Forecast and manage budgets, reporting monthly on performance.
Skills and Attributes:
* A Degree/HNC or equivalent in Building Surveying/Construction, ideally with a professional qualification (RICS/CIOB or similar).
* Knowledge of building construction, mechanical, and electrical installations.
* Experience in maintenance roles within leisure, hospitality, or retail sectors.
* Strong organizational, communication, and management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
