About the Role
We are looking for experienced Steel Erector's for our growing Christchurch Division to install 1st and 2nd fix steel work, purlins and trusses. Our projects range from portal frame buildings to large scale commercial projects throughout New Zealand.
We would also like the successful candidate to be willing to cross train with the wider construction team and be willing to undertake further training in Carpentry to assist the wider team when the occasion requires.
To achieve a level of competency in quality construction to company standards and client satisfaction.
Skills and Attributes
Being an integral member of our Construction team, you will have need thorough understanding of New Zealand commercial construction methods and confidently utilise your abilities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest of standards.
You are energetic, keen to learn, enjoy working within a team environment, and won’t be afraid to take ownership of your work. With a minimum of two years industry relevant experience and if you have the below skills and attributes, we want to hear from you :
* Ability to read drawings.
* A team player.
* An eye for quality.
* Capable to work away when required.
* Focused on providing our clients with a quality service.
* Currently legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
* Rigging tickets, access and working at height tickets desirable.
* Proactive and uncompromising approach to Health and Safety Management.
* Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
