We’re looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to join our polyamide extrusion department. If you have experience in plastic extrusion, plastic injection moulding, or mechanical engineering, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a skilled team and play a key role in driving quality and efficiency. What you’ll do * Lead and support the production team, ensuring output, quality, and safety targets are met * Oversee new product introduction and process improvements in polyamide extrusion * Work with design, supply chain, and suppliers to optimise materials and tooling * Monitor production quality, troubleshoot issues, and reduce waste * Support recruitment, training, and team development * Maintain ISO standards and health & safety compliance What we’re looking for * Experience in plastics manufacturing (extrusion or injection moulding) * Transferable skills from mechanical engineering, CNC operation, or maintenance engineering * Proven leadership/supervisory background in a production environment * Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills What’s on offer * £13.52 per hour 10% shift allowance £0.50/hr attendance bonus (OTE ~£30,000 pa) * Extra £0.50/hr for first aid trained team leaders * April pay review & career progression opportunities * Rotating shift pattern (better balance with fewer nights): * Mon–Fri: 6am–2pm * Mon–Fri: 2pm–10pm * Mon–Thurs: 9:30pm–6:30am * Overtime opportunities to significantly boost earnings Apply today
