This position is a Sales Engineer role that requires a blend of technical know-how and interpersonal skills. The candidate will manage an established customer base while also prospecting for new customers and applications. The position involves approximately 50% overnight travel and daily travel to local clients in a defined regional territory within the USA and Canada, covering 10 states. The client is open to considering military engineers with no prior sales experience but a strong sales personality. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts Identify and qualify new sales opportunities Close sales Provide technical support to customers Develop and execute sales plans Track and report sales results Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field 3 years of experience in sales engineering or a military background with a strong desire to learn sales Strong technical skills in a variety of engineering disciplines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to build rapport with customers A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
