We've got an exciting part-time opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Holderness Adult Community Wellbeing Team, based in Hornsea and working across East Yorkshire with a flexible blend of office and home working.

We're looking for a Social Work England registered professional with solid experience and a genuine commitment to supporting adults in the community. Supervisory or mentoring experience is essential, as you'll help shape practice, support colleagues, and foster a positive, learning-focused team culture.
What you'll be doing:
* Working within theCare Act 2014framework
* Carrying out person-centred assessments in community and hospital settings
* Undertaking court work, including preparing reports, presenting evidence, and working within legal frameworks to support safeguarding and best outcomes for individuals
* Co-producing care and support plans, and reviewing outcomes
* Participating in the duty rota to respond to urgent and complex situations
What you'll bring:
* A strong understanding of adult social care legislation, including theMental Capacity Act 2005,Care Act 2014, andDeprivation of Liberty Safeguards
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Strong IT and written skills to maintain accurate records and support performance monitoring
* A flexible, proactive approach to working under pressure
* A full driving licence - essential due to the wide geographical area covered (mileage allowance provided)
