We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Macqueen vets.
Location: Macqueen Veterinary Centre
Contract: Fixed Term Maternity cover
Hours: 40
Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday hours between 8am–7pm and occasional Saturday with a day off in the week

About the role
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we\'re looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist
* Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
