The Role As a Telehandler, you will be responsible for operating telehandler forklifts to move materials around construction sites safely and efficiently. Your duties will include: Operating the telehandler to transport materials and equipment across the site Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring the safe handling of goods Assisting with lifting and positioning materials for construction tasks Ensuring all lifting operations comply with health and safety guidelines Working closely with the site team to coordinate the safe movement of materials Maintaining the telehandler and reporting any mechanical issues to the site supervisor Following site-specific health and safety regulations and procedures Requirements CPCS Card (essential) Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction sites Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites PPE : safety boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer Competitive pay at £19.50 per hour Full-time hours (Monday to Friday) Ongoing work for the right candidate, offering job stability and variety Opportunity to work on large-scale construction projects Friendly and supportive team environment Location Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk - Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the site.
