About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead HR technology projects, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors implementations and enhancements. You will manage the full project lifecycle — from planning and resourcing through to delivery and closure — ensuring projects deliver measurable business value, align with HR strategies, and meet stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Setup:
• Develop project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts for HR system projects.
• Build business cases and ensure investment approvals are secured.
• Define project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Onboard internal and external project resources, ensuring alignment to delivery needs.
Project Execution & Delivery:
• Lead HR technology projects (e.g., SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, or Performance).
• Manage risks, issues, and scope changes to keep projects on track.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and benefit realization against business cases.
• Deliver project milestones and oversee configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Collaborate closely with HR business partners, IT colleagues, and third-party vendors.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Run steering committees and governance forums for HR projects.
Project Closure & Continuous Improvement:
• Ensure smooth transition to BAU support and HR operations.
• Conduct lessons learned and benefits realization reviews.
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge sharing for future HR initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven track record delivering HR IT projects with emphasis on SAP SuccessFactors.
• Experience across multiple modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, or Performance & Goals.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Skilled in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage budgets up to £500K and oversee third-party suppliers.
Qualifications
• Degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile/SAFe).
• SAP SuccessFactors certification(s) preferred.
