Natural Umber is seeking a motivated, commercially minded Field Sales Executive to help take our award-winning apple cider vinegar to the next stage of growth.
About the Brand
Natural Umber is a premium, organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar – recognised for its smooth taste and unique production process. Part of the well-established James Mackle Ltd, a family-run company with over 70 years in the apple trade, we're entering an exciting phase of expansion.
The Role
This is a hands-on field sales role, ideal for a results-oriented individual with the professionalism to engage at all levels – from independent health food stores to national retail buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new retail and wholesale opportunities, including independents, farm shops, wellness spaces, and small chains.
* Nurture and expand existing customer accounts, ensuring strong brand presence and product sell-through.
* Represent the brand at trade shows, in-store tastings, and sampling events.
* Deliver persuasive product presentations to potential clients, focusing on health benefits and unique brand story.
* Work closely with the head office team to feed in market insights, competitor activity, and performance reporting.
* Act as a brand ambassador, representing Natural Umber's values and high-quality product line.
The Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of proven success in a sales role, ideally within food & drink or wellness sectors.
* Strong network of contacts in the independent retail or health & wellness space is a plus.
* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and comfortable working on the road.
* Strong organisational skills and sales pipeline management.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ideally based within a commutable distance of Moy, Dungannon, or Armagh.
