Location: Remote (UK‑wide) with regular travel

Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum + benefits
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to lead commercial strategy nationwide. This confidential appointment comes at a pivotal point in the organisation’s growth and offers the opportunity to influence market position, brand direction and end‑to‑end performance.
The Role
The Sales & Marketing Director will define and deliver the full commercial strategy, overseeing market positioning, brand standards, marketing performance, pipeline management and activity. Leading the team, you will ensure strong conversion across the enquiry journey while driving high‑quality, consistent marketing output.
You’ll balance growth objectives with operational capacity, supporting strategic planning and long‑term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the full sales and marketing strategy
* Lead the pipeline and ensure strong conversion performance
* Provide strategic leadership
* Oversee marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels
* Ensure consistency of brand positioning, messaging and quality
* Lead, develop and manage a high‑performing team spanning sales, admissions and marketing
* Use insight and data to guide commercial decision‑making
* Work closely with senior leaders across finance, operations etc.
* Provide clear commercial reporting to executive leadership
Experience & Skills Required
Essential
* Senior leadership experience across sales and marketing
* Proven track record of driving growth
* Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance opportunity and risk
* Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams
* Data‑led decision maker with strong analytical capability
* Excellent stakeholder management at executive level
* Experience leading marketing functions
Desirable
* Background in high‑growth or private‑equity‑backed organisations
* Experience integrating or scaling newly acquired sites
* Familiarity with digital marketing performance tools
