The Role
We are working with a leading digital and technology consultancy to place an experienced Microsoft Purview Product Manager into a high-profile central government data and information protection programme. This is a subject matter expert role, sitting at the intersection of product strategy and hands-on delivery, working embedded within one of the UK's largest government departments.
What You'll Be Doing
* Reviewing, prioritising and making recommendations on the implementation of Microsoft Purview capabilities — including Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
* Reviewing and agreeing execution of product strategy with the Lead Product Owner
* Identifying and engaging key stakeholders across cross-boundary functions, creating and agreeing processes between teams
* Driving adoption of Purview capabilities across the organisation
* Delivering against a defined product roadmap within an M365 environment
What We're Looking For
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Purview and its core capabilities (Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, DLP)
* Demonstrable experience implementing information protection capabilities within Microsoft 365
* Experience delivering against a product strategy in a complex organisation
* Proven ability to drive user adoption of new tooling or processes
* Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across organisational boundaries
* Public sector or large enterprise experience preferred
* Must be eligible for BPSS clearance
* Right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available for this role
