As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting Cost Negotiators and Senior Cost Negotiators to join our highly experienced Costs team.

Main Responsibilities
* Managing own caseload using case management software
* Instruct counsel to attend detailed assessment / oral review or alternatively conduct own hearings
* Hit agreed recovery targets
* Undertake accurate valuation
* Maintain constant communication with fee earners
* Provide head of team updates on forecasts, recoveries, issue files
* Hit agreed daily chargeable hours target
* Keep MI fully up to date and accurate
* Deal with aged debt where applicable
* Review points of dispute
* Assist in bundle preparation
* Ensure SLA / pipeline metrics are adhered to
* Follow agreed processes
* Provide legal teams with costs advice
* Attend team meetings
* Provide feedback on recoveries/files/fee earning practices
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in dealing with high‑value litigation and negotiation cases
* Experience of Proclaim
* Experience of Cost Master
* Organisational, planning and communication skills
