Weekend Packaging Operatives - Immediate Requirement
HR GO Recruitment are currently recruiting Weekend Packaging Operatives for a busy production client.
This requirement is for Saturday 27th June and Sunday 28th June, working 12-hour day shifts. There is the possibility of additional weekend work and extra shifts in the future for reliable candidates.
Key Responsibilities:* Accurately pack and label products to meet quality and presentation standards* Inspect items for defects and carry out basic quality checks* Operate basic packaging equipment and hand tools safely* Assist with sorting, batching and palletising orders* Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment* Meet productivity targets while adhering to health and safety procedures
Essential Requirements:* Previous packing experience is essential* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team* Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties* Must be available to work on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June* Must be available to attend a site induction on Thursday 25th June* Must be able to commit to 12-hour shifts from 6:00am to 6:00pm* Due to the location of the site and shift start times, candidates must have their own transport
Desirable:* Experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment* Familiarity with packing machinery or packing systems
