Our client, a Top 40 UK accountancy practice within a national network, is growing its Manchester team and seeking an ambitious Accounts & Audit Senior to play a pivotal role in delivering client excellence whilst building towards leadership. The Role: Overview As an Accounts & Audit Senior, you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio, delivering high-quality audit and accounts work while mentoring junior staff and strengthening client relationships. Key Responsibilities Audit & Accounts Delivery Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion in line with ISAs (UK) Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS 102 / UK GAAP Manage a portfolio including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements Client Relationship Management Act as a main point of contact for clients Build trusted relationships and provide commercial, value-added advice Identify opportunities to support additional advisory services Team Leadership Supervise, coach, and review work of junior team members Provide technical guidance and support development Contribute to internal training and team initiatives About Our Client Our client is a Top 40 UK accountancy firm with a strong national presence, offering audit, accounts, tax, and advisory services to a broad client base.
