The Business
Our client is a nationwide manufacturer based in Tanfield and has been operating since 2016. The business supplies into the packaging supply chain and produces over 300 million units, making them a key player within their sector.
They are a family-owned, forward-thinking organisation with a strong focus on innovation, quality and continuous improvement. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for reliable and motivated Operatives to join their production team.

The Role
As a Machine Operative, you will play an important part in the production process. You will be responsible for operating machinery, checking finished products and making sure all goods meet quality standards before they are packed and sent out.
Your duties will include:
13. Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
14. Quality checking products to ensure they meet required standards
15. Identifying and reporting any defects or issues
16. Packing finished goods in a fast-paced production environment
17. Lifting and handling stock as part of the production process
18. Completing basic production paperwork
19. Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
20. Supporting the wider team to meet production targets
The Person

21. Experience working in a production, packing or manufacturing environment
