Kitchen Crew Leader (Hotel Cook) - MOXY Aberdeen Airport This position is based on a full time contract. How exciting would it be to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preparing the food for our guests and ensuring they leave with a great all round experience? We are looking for someone to work in our kitchen operation at Moxy Aberdeen Airport. We are a busy hotel where guests are looking for quick but nutritious meals. You dont need to be a chef but you do need to have a passion for food, be organised, and be able to work under pressure. Experience of Merry chefs would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given. Main Tasks & responsibilities Prepare food using Merry chefs Present food in line with brand standards Preparation, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organize BOH areas Cleanliness of the kitchen area Full ownership of FIFO system (first in first out) of food items Follow all food safety policies to work safely Food handling according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures etc.) A positive attitude and ability to create a buzz in the kitchen Were looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things: Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude Passionate about food Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service and thinking ahead Clear communicator, fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
