Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Glasgow seek individuals to provide support to adults with diverse needs, either on a 1:1 basis or as part of a team, ranging from a few hours per week to 24/7 accessible support. As an Assistant Service Co-ordinator, you will assist individuals with practical and emotional support, housing, personal care, and participate in education, employability, and social activities tailored to their needs.
Full training will be provided to enhance your trauma and mental health experience. We value respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity, and will support you through the application process.
Glasgow Mental Health & Huntington’s Service
This service supports individuals with complex mental health conditions and Huntington's disease, aiming to help them lead fulfilling lives. We adopt a trauma-informed approach, focusing on strengths, confidence, belonging, and positive relationships. We collaborate closely with Glasgow HSCP to support those in crisis and ensure safety.
The support is tailored to individual needs, from a few hours weekly to 24/7 support. The role is mainly Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities and potential sleepovers, which are financially rewarded. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Details of the role are available in the attached Job Role Profile. IT skills are necessary for all vacancies. Successful candidates must register with the SSSC within 3-6 months of starting, depending on the role.
