Salary: £28,500.00 per annum plus Veolia benefits. Hours: 40 hours per week. Location: Stewartby, MK43 9LY.

Responsibilities
* Inspect incoming waste and sort/segregate materials in line with site standards.
* Carry out bulking and other site operations safely and efficiently.
* Ensure site safety rules are followed by Veolia staff and visiting customers.
* Provide assistance and technical advice to yard operators when required.
* Liaise with Customer Services/Sales when waste received is not as expected, supplying technical details to support pricing reviews/changes.
* Act as guardian of the site permit, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding site health & safety.
Qualifications
* HNC/HND or higher in Chemistry (or relevant Science).
* Knowledge of chemical hazards and compatibility, assessing adverse reaction risk.
* Experience in waste management or the chemical industry.
* Ability to work outdoors on an operational site in all weather conditions.
