About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for classrooms in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring lessons are delivered effectively and students remain engaged. You will contribute to a positive learning environment, support behaviour management, and maintain the school’s high standards during cover periods. Responsibilities: Supervise classrooms and deliver lessons according to pre-prepared plans. Ensure students remain on task and engaged throughout lessons. Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies. Monitor student participation and provide feedback to teachers. Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and lesson outcomes. Adapt to different classes, year groups, and learning needs as required. Qualifications: Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage classrooms effectively. Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
