Established, family run engineering business is looking to recruit a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to meet company standards.
* Operating a forklift safely and efficiently (must have a valid forklift license).
* Managing stock control to ensure accurate inventory levels.
* Overseeing batch control and ensuring proper management of products.
* Handling goods in/out with precision, including loading and unloading deliveries.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
* Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift license.
* Strong aptitude for stock and batch control processes.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet daily targets.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Salary Guide: £28,000 to £32,000, plus overtime rate
