We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Technical Coordinator. The role is predominantly field-based, working within a close and supportive Field Operations team at Ashford Common water treatment works. Your focus will be on maintaining and improving the treatment process, managing projects across a designated catchment, and supporting larger-scale projects.
You will be responsible for designing complex jobs at our treatment process and ensuring prerequisites are in place for the Field Technicians to complete their work.
Base Location: Ashford Common (WTW) - TW15 1RU
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday 7:30-15:36, 36 hours/week, with opportunities for call-out payments.
Responsibilities:
1. Design operationally critical jobs using technical expertise and field data.
2. Highlight operational risks and present them for funding approval.
3. Maintain plant and equipment availability and optimize treatment performance.
4. Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
5. Provide technical advice and solutions for operational risks.
6. Analyze data from pumping stations to identify trends and improve processes.
7. Obtain quotes, order materials, and manage third-party services.
8. Ensure health and safety compliance, including site audits and permit reviews.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Good business/stakeholder awareness and creative problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in technical job design or prerequisite management in utilities is desirable.
* Strong IT skills, familiar with SAP and other software.
* Commitment to health and safety standards.

* Salary from £36,400 to £54,600 depending on experience.
