Role: Health and Safety Manager
Contract Type: Short-term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM-5 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Rate: £280/day (PAYE)
Location: On-site, multi-site logistics operation

Responsibilities
Lead health & safety across automated, high-volume warehouse operations
Deliver engaging training and embed proactive safety culture
Lead compliance audits, investigations, and risk assessments
Manage internal and external facilities maintenance (reactive and preventive)
Maintain safe, clean, compliant facilities across multiple sites
Collaborate with stakeholders and support integration of young talent
Ensure regulatory compliance during growth and workforce transitions
Qualifying Criteria
NEBOSH or equivalent certification
Health & safety experience in logistics/warehouse (ideally automated)
Proven ability in risk management, audits, and safety training
Facilities management experience
Skilled communicator with varied workforce and senior stakeholders
