Inclusion IQ is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly successful, 40-year-old market leadera business that's stood the test of time, proudly generating over £80 million in turnover across NI and ROI as they seek to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Finance Team on a flexible, part-time basis.
The Role
As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a critical role in the Accounts Payable function, using your established knowledge to manage the end-to-end purchase ledger process efficiently.

o Assisting in the processing of supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and allocation to cost, centres.
o Purchase Order (PO) process - queries, diligently matching invoices, against POs and Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for accurate 3-way matching.
o Proactively investigating and resolving complex supplier and internal queries regarding payments, invoices, and account discrepancies.
o Performing supplier statement reconciliations when required following up promptly on any outstanding items.
o Maintaining the integrity of supplier master data.
The Person
This role requires someone who can bring depth of experience and confidence to the Finance Team. To be considered for this role, applicants must demonstrate the following skills and experience:

o Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in fiancé support role or purchase Ledger capacity.
o Proficiency in using financial software, ERP experience would be advantageous
o Solid capability with Microsoft Excel for ledger analysis and reporting.
o Exceptional attention to detail
o Speak confidently and professionally to suppliers and internal teams.
o Organised & Reliable with the skills to manage a high-volume workload
