Job Description
We are looking for 2 Sheltered Housing Officers with Aberdeenshire Council who will provide support and assistance to people to maintain their tenancy and live independently in their own accommodation within a Sheltered Housing Scheme and as part of their local community.
There are Sheltered Housing Schemes located in various communities in and around Aberdeenshire. We are seeking keen individuals with a flexible approach to join the Sheltered Housing team in various locations across the Kincardine, Mearns, and Marr areas. A driving license and access to a car are essential.
The work pattern will be 3 days per week from 8.45 am to 5 pm, plus alternate weekends from 9 am to 1 pm.

This post requires you to have obtained SSSC registration within 6 months of employment.
This is a fixed-term post, valid until 31/12/2025.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
The minimum requirement includes two references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.
