The Role:
To develop and execute high quality campaigns to promote BOSP, manage brand consistency, create content for various channels (digital, print, media), track campaign performance, and build relationships with media and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include content creation, media relations, digital marketing, analysing campaign effectiveness, and acting as a brand guardian.
Main duties, but not restricted to:
* Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and evaluate marketing and communication campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences and meet BOSP's objectives.
* Content Creation: Produce high-quality content for diverse platforms, including websites, social media, press releases, brochures, and newsletters, ensuring brand consistency and tone of voice.
* Content Capture: Be confident in capturing images and film content from mobile devices. Able to edit photos and video.
* Brand Guardianship: Serve as the brand guardian, ensuring all communications and marketing materials adhere to the organisation's brand guidelines, image, and key messages.
* Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, respond to media inquiries, and distribute press releases to secure positive publicity.
* Digital Marketing: Manage and optimise digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media campaigns, and digital advertising to increase engagement and visibility.
* Budget Management: Oversee allocated budgets for marketing and communications activities, ensuring effective use of resources.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor media coverage and campaign performance, analyse audience feedback, contributing to BOSP's monthly Service report to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Develop communications to inform and engage with various stakeholders, including the public, partners, and internal staff.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Content Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for various media.
* Digital Fluency: Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, understand market research, and measure campaign performance.
* Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities and campaigns simultaneously.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills to build relationships with colleagues, media, and other stakeholders.
Creativity: Ability to generate creative ideas and contribute to innovative marketing campaigns.
Evaluation & learning
* To ensure personal key performance indicators are set and be proactive in reviewing and evaluating own performance, identifying and acting upon areas for improvement and development.
* To follow BOSP's policies, procedures and performance expectations.
General
* Be willing to work some unsocial hours to support fundraising activities/events.
* To perform any other duties consistent with the role and/or reasonably required.
