Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your role will be to repair and maintain equipment sold by the Company’s sales departments within its designated area.
Essential Skills/Experience
* Proven experience within the Agricultural industry would be advantageous.
* Ability to diagnose faults using the latest software and successfully carry out repairs, which may be chargeable, warrantable, or internal jobs.
* Ability to repair and maintain equipment for customers related to Agricultural or Horticultural machinery and equipment.
* Lifting heavy machinery and applying common sense to items that require the use of special tools.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers as required.
* Ability to work independently using your own initiative and as part of a team.
* Adherence to health and safety practices and procedures at all times.
* Maintain a good general level of health and fitness.
* Self-motivated with a good general appearance.
* Excellent customer service skills, as this is a customer-facing role.
* Full clean driver’s license.
Additional Information
* Start Date: Immediate, subject to candidates' notice periods.
* Hours: 39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday; 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch). Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours Monday to Friday.
* Salary: Competitive, depending on experience (hourly paid).
