An established organisation located near Romford, Essex, my client is seeking a professional and diligent Finance Assistant to join their finance department in the role of Treasury Assistant.
Your new role
Working as part of a fast-paced and supportive team, this is a varied role that would suit an individual with a mix of accounts payable and cashiering experience. Duties will include:
1. Petty cash management
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Intepany account reconciliations
4. CHAPS and other manual payments
5. Foreign payments
6. Posting of cash entries
7. Processing invoices
8. Processing expenses
9. Month-end review and analysis of bank chargers
10. Assisting with month-end close and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a track record working in a high volume and deadline-driven accounts payable / treasury role, with a positive approach to developing new skills. Excellent attention to detail will be pivotal, alongside confident systems and IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
What you'll get in return
Starting salary circa £30000 - £35000 (dependent on experience)
25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays, with the option to buy additional days
