Jark Stevenage are urgently recruiting for a Pre Press Operative for a Stevenage Printing company. This is an established company with strong growth with excellent prospects of progression. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right person Pre-press is to aid production, increase output and maintain quality/efficiencies. Working to ensure orders are ready in line with the company schedule. Daily Tasks •Plate ordering/administration - •Plate mounting •Ink mixing and colour matching. •Plate making. •Cleaning recycled printing plates. •Producing plate negs for in house plates. •Carrying out pre-shift inspections for the pre-press room. Weekly Tasks •Keeping records of plate usage and reporting these back to the production manager •Keeping records of ink usage and cost savings •Ordering of ink....
