The Role: Assembler
Are you looking to develop your career within assembly and production? This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, using tools, and working with precision to build high-quality products. As an Assembler, you’ll be involved in a range of tasks from assembly and testing through to inspection, ensuring products meet both safety and quality standards.
Based near [confidential location], this is a permanent, full-time position within a supportive and dynamic team. Our client is committed to providing training and development opportunities, making this role ideal for those who already have assembly experience as well as those looking to grow their skills in a stable and rewarding environment.
Main Responsibilities (Assembler):
* Assemble components and systems to technical drawings and instructions
* Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment as required
* Perform testing and calibration of products to verify performance
* Maintain accurate documentation of work, test results, and quality checks
* Follow health and safety standards, particularly around electrical and gas systems
* Collaborate with engineers, quality, and production teams to resolve issues
Skills/Experience (Assembler):
* Previous assembly or production experience is an advantage but not essential
* Knowledge of electrical or gas systems beneficial but not required
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Confident using hand tools and power tools
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
* Valid UK Driving Licence
Salary & Working Hours (Assembler):
* Competitive pay (negotiable depending on experience)
* Full-time, permanent position
* Standard day shifts, Monday – Friday
