About The Role
Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic in Central London is hiring an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for clients, greeting them and their pets, providing a warm welcome, and assisting with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and offering general support. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week with 1:3 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked).
Your day at Elizabeth Street could include:
* Welcoming clients and their pets on arrival
* Booking appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
* Promoting our Healthcare Plan to ensure pets receive premium discounted preventative treatment; booking follow-up appointments after initial consultations
* Assisting the Vet and Nurse teams with queries
* Managing paperwork and scanning into pets’ digital records
* Liaising with clients regarding appointment bookings and medication collection
* Ordering food and medication
* Processing payments and 0% finance applications for larger procedures
* Managing a busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism, including handling emails and social media inquiries
About You
Ideal you will have:
* Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the veterinary or medical industry
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong organisational abilities with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service; proficiency in computer systems and software, with experience using RxWorks being a MASSIVE plus
