I am searching for a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to provide essential support to a busy Dispute Resolution (Real Estate) team in Birmingham. You will deliver a responsive and efficient service across a variety of contentious real estate work such as lease renewals, dilapidations and possession claims.
This role is in a global law firm, highly ranked for the work they do and offering a comprehensive suite of staff benefits in addition to the annual salary.

Main Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients by phone and email, acting as a professional first point of contact.
* File opening and closing, compliance checks and matter management.
* Produce legal documents and correspondence, format and amend to a high standard.
* Diary management, arranging meetings, mediations and conferences.
* Support workflows on a wide variety of matters including lease renewals, break notices, dilapidation issues, possession claims and telecoms notices, diarising key dates.
* Digital dictation, copy typing and transcription, with complete accuracy and consistency.
* Create court bundles and hearing packs, manage submissions to court portals.
* Billing support, time recording assistance and expense processing.
* Coordinate travel, events and team administration.
Skills and Experience
* Previous Legal Secretarial experience from within litigation or property teams.
* Strong digital dictation, typing and document production skills.
* Confident and professional communication with a client‑centred approach.
* High level of attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines in a busy team.
* Confident user of Microsoft 365 and case management systems.
* Have a team mindset, with initiative to anticipate what is required.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
