Job Title: Payroll & Benefit Administrator (30 hours/week)
*permanent position, hourly and benefit eligible*
Location: South Shore, MA (onsite 5 days/week)
Overview:
This newly created role involves managing payroll for 100 employees and assisting with benefits administration. You will report to the HR Manager and work closely with the CFO and accounting team. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.
Responsibilities:
* Process payroll using Paylocity or similar software, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
* Maintain payroll records and handle adjustments.
* Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement, etc.) and ensure compliance.
* Address payroll/benefit discrepancies and employee inquiries.
* Prepare and file payroll tax documents, such as W-2s and 1099s.
* Support audits and collaborate on budgeting and reporting.
Qualifications:
* Experience in payroll and benefits administration
* Proficiency in Paylocity (preferred) or similar software
* Knowledge of tax and labor laws, with strong attention to detail and communication skills
* SHRM/HRCI certification preferred
