JOB – Electronics Engineer
LOCATION – Brighton
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £35,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a leading technology and engineering company based in Brighton, specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced electronic systems for the aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors. They are looking to expand their engineering team by taking on an Electronics Engineer to work on the development of cutting-edge electronic products.
The Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design
• Hands-on experience with PCB design, layout, and testing
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and firmware development
• Knowledge of design for EMC, reliability, and manufacturability
• Ability to fault-find and test electronic assemblies
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
The Electronics Engineer role will involve:
• Designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits and systems
• Producing detailed schematics, layouts, and documentation
• Supporting prototype build, verification, and validation
• Collaborating with mechanical and software teams to deliver integrated designs
• Conducting testing, debugging, and design reviews
• Providing technical support to manufacturing and customers when required
