We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to work a 12-month contract for our client 100% on-site in Aldermaston, Reading.
Essential:
1. Experience of support in a large and complex network environment at a Senior network engineering level
2. Good technical investigation and problem-solving skills.
3. Juniper Technologies: EX, QFX, switch configuration, SRX, vSRX Firewall and policy config, Junos Space, Security Director, Apstra.
4. Experience in IT service management and delivery based on ITIL service management standards.
5. Experience working with Juniper Virtual Chassis and Clustering technology
6. Experience with configuring/troubleshooting EVPN/VXLAN on Juniper equipment.
7. Experience of configuring GRE tunnels and Routing Instances/VRFs.
8. Experience of PKI/certificate generation and renewal.
9. Networking: strong routing skills (OSPF, BGP), Firewall configuration, WAN/LAN design, device clustering, high availability.
10. Juniper Technologies: EX, QFX, switch configuration, SRX, vSRX Firewall and policy config, Junos Space, Security Director, Apstra.
11. Security Platforms: FortiGate, F5 BIG-IP (Load Balancing/AWAF), Pulse Secure/Ivanti, high-grade encryption.
12. Identity & Access Management: Cisco ISE (full life cycle), Windows NPS (RADIUS/802.1X).
13. Monitoring & Observability: SolarWinds, Splunk....
