This role exists to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of engineering projects. As a Package Manager, you'll be pivotal in maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction on-site.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
* Manage labour, plant, equipment, and materials; coordinate subcontractors; maintain site documentation.
* Conduct site inductions, daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Liaise with stakeholders, attend site meetings, monitor progress, and resolve site challenges.
* Ensure proper storage and security of materials and equipment, maintain welfare facilities, and motivate the workforce.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Construction or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Valid SMSTS and IOSH Supervising Safely certifications.
* CSCS card relevant to supervisory role and First Aid at Work certification.
* Proven experience supervising construction or engineering projects of similar scale and complexity.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the construction industry.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
* Ability to understand and implement construction programs and follow design drawings from consultants.
