The Floor Supervisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional day to day service at The Leicester Arms. This position is responsible for leading the floor during service, supporting the management team, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring every guest receives warm, professional, detail driven hospitality. As a Floor Supervisor, you are expected to lead by example at all times. You will help create a service culture that is polished, personal, and consistent, while ensuring the restaurant, bar, terrace, and guest areas are well organised, well presented, and running smoothly. What We Are Looking For Previous experience in a busy hospitality environment Experience serving on the floor in a quality food led pub, restaurant, or hotel Strong service skills and confidence leading a section or shift A positive, hands on attitude with a genuine love of hospitality Excellent communication and teamworking skills Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure High standards of personal presentation and professionalism A good understanding of food, drink, and guest expectations Desirable Previous supervisory experience Experience in a premium pub, inn, or restaurant environment Wine knowledge and confidence with pairings Experience with reservations systems and till systems An interest in developing into an Assistant Manager role in future Personal Qualities Warm, welcoming, and naturally hospitable Organised and dependable Calm under pressure Detail focused Proactive and solutions led Professional in both attitude and appearance A team player who leads from the front Proud of doing things properly Key Expectations To be visible and engaged on the floor throughout service To take ownership of the guest experience in your area To maintain high standards even in busy periods To support the management team fully and act as a role model for junior team members To care deeply about the little things, because little things make the large difference Hours This role will include a mixture of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the needs of the business.
